It is a very good film directed by Christopher Nolan(known for best direction in The Dark Knight Trilogy). All the stars played a great role in this film especially Matthew McConaughey and Mackenzie Foy at the start filling every gap with family values, emotions, fear, curiosity and survival. I don’t know why this movie didn’t win an Oscar.
From my perspective it truly deserves an Oscar. The concept about Murphy’s law, Morse code and the fundamental clarity about the five-dimensional beings and the capability of humans to see beyond the three dimensions(3D) amazed me.
The Black Hole(its name ‘Gargantua’ and no words for how awesome it looks like papa of saturn), Planets of other galaxies, visual effects given to make them seem real are just spectacular.
Performance of Mackenzie Foy was very good, she’s an amazing star and as a character in the film she delivers with every bit of intensity what we had expected from her. But we also cannot ignore the fact that the performance of Matthew McConaughey was just splendid.
Overall the concept was good including the music at the background elevating the inner emotions at the just right time when needed.
A superb film by Christopher Nolan and I hope to see more of his sci-fi movies in the future but a sequel to this is must.
